Prudence Morton was born in Richland Park, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. She immigrated to Canada in 1970. Prudence became a director in 2013, served as Secretary for six years and sat on various committees. In 2016, Prudence also served as president of the Corporation.
After graduating with a Diploma in Journalism, Prudence worked as an Interviewer with the Ontario Human Rights Commission, an Advertising Copy-writer with Art Wolfson Inc. and later, at the College of Nurses of Ontario where she worked for many years as the organization’s Discipline and Hearings Co-ordinator.
While involved in the Corporation Prudence lost her beloved husband. She is a proud mother, grandmother, an avid gardener and dotes on Vee her Siberian Husky.
